Bollywood star Aamir Khans next project to be adaptation of Forrest Gump
The film will called 'Lal Singh Chaddha'
(Reuters) - Bollywood actor Aamir Khan on Thursday (March 14) announced that his upcoming film will be an adaptation of 1994 Academy Award-winning movie Forrest Gump .
The actor made the announcement on the occasion of his 54 birthday in the country s showbiz capital Mumbai, where he was accompanied by his wife, Kiran Rao.
The film will called Lal Singh Chaddha and will be produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom18 Motion Pictures.
"Preparation of the film has already begun and the shooting is likely to start from October," said Khan.
Lal Singh Chaddha will be directed by Advait Chandan, who was also the man behind Khan s last film Secret Superstar .
